Final Bloggiesta Update

Alas, Bloggiesta has ended. Here’s how I did:

To-Do List:

  • Write and schedule at least 3 reviews
  • Write and schedule some TTT, Waiting on Wednesday, or Friday’s Finest posts
  • Clean out inbox
  • Comment on lots of blogs
  • Clean out Google Reader – a bit
  • Back up my blog
  • Participate in at least 3 mini-challenges.

I kind of knew I wouldn’t be getting all these things done, but I’m really happy that I backed up my blog. I think I’ll continue to work on this list, if a bit slowly.

How did you do during Bloggiesta?

Bloggiesta Update!

Day 2 of Bloggiesta is here, so I figured this would be a good time for an update.

To-Do List:

  • Write and schedule at least 3 reviews
  • Write and schedule some TTT, Waiting on Wednesday, or Friday’s Finest posts
  • Clean out inbox
  • Comment on lots of blogs
  • Clean out Google Reader
  • Back up my blog
  • Participate in at least 3 mini-challenges.

Okay so I’m pretty behind, but backing up my blog also counts as one mini challenge.

How’s your Bloggiesta going?

Bloggiesta Starting Line

So I already posted about Bloggiesta, and now it’s time for my official to-do list, which isn’t that official or exciting because I already shared it in that other post.

To-Do List:

  • Write and schedule at least 3 reviews
  • Write and schedule some TTT, Waiting on Wednesday, or Friday’s Finest posts
  • Clean out inbox
  • Comment on lots of blogs
  • Clean out Google Reader
  • Back up my blog
  • Participate in at least 3 mini-challenges.

It’s not a very long list, but a few of the things on there are going to take a lot of time, and I doubt I’ll get everything done. Although, lucky for me today is a P.A. Day, so no school, which means I’ve got a lot of extra time to work on the blog! Wish me luck!

What’s on your Bloggiesta list?

Bloggiesta Fall 2012

See, I told you I’d be posting more 🙂

For anyone who doesn’t know, Bloggiesta is an awesome event that takes place over the course of a weekend (this time it’s Sept. 28-30) where bloggers come together to learn from each other and also tackle some of those blogging projects you’ve wanted to get done for a while!
Remember, the level of commitment during Bloggiesta is up to you. We’d love for you to find lots of time to devote to blogging with us during those three days, but if you have just one day that you can join us, or even just a few hours of one day, please do not hesitate to sign up.

If you decide to participate in the Fall 2012 edition you can expect:

  • to spend time that weekend (as much or as little as your schedule allows) working on your blog
  • to create a to do list to share on your blog and link up with other participants
  • to hopefully participant in several mini challenges and learn something new
  • to connect with other participants through blog hopping or twitter
  • to make new blogging friends!
  • to come away at the end of the three days with a spiffed up blog!

Sounds great, eh? Last time when I participated, my list was this:

  • Re-format old reviews and update them in my review archive – no time for this 😛
  • Clean out my Google Reader (BIG task here, folks!) – semi-done. I think I’ll be working on this for a while!
  • Clean out my inbox and respond to emails – again, semi-done!
  • Organize TBR list
  • Organize Google Calendar
  • Comment on lots of blogs!
  • Write posts that are not reviews or memes! Like things on my mind, or discussions! (I’m thinking of this mini-challenge) – DONE! I made a list of post ideas and have already started posting/writing some!
  • Back up my blog! Hey, there’s another mini-challenge for this! Who knew?!
  • Install some sort of recent posts widget – meh, not happening. maybe next time?
I didn’t do as much as I wanted, so a couple of those items are back on my list again this time.
Fall 2012 Bloggiesta List:

  • Write and schedule at least 3 reviews
  • Write and schedule some TTT, Waiting on Wednesday, or Friday’s Finest posts
  • Clean out inbox
  • Comment on lots of blogs
  • Clean out Google Reader
  • Back up my blog
I think that sounds good for now. I might be adding or changing a few things as I go along, but when Bloggiesta officially starts I’ll be sure to post my progress and keep you updated 🙂 I’m hoping to also participate in lots of mini-challenges, last time I did one that inspired me to write a huge post about ARCs and how to get them.
Go, sign up!

Bloggiesta Finish Line

Bloggiesta
I came into bloggiesta not really knowing what to expect. Even though this weekend was a busy one for me, and I didn’t get to spend as much time as I wanted to on blogging, I still think I got a couple good things done!
I posted something other than a review, meme, or blog tour, and I have a big list of other poss written up. This weekend I did a post about ARCs – what are they, how do you get them, and what’s all the fuss about?
I also commented on a lot of blogs, cleaned out most of my email and Google reader, and, well… Okay, that’s about it 😛 I’m still going to work on the other things that were on my list, but for now I’m happy just to have participated!
So, to everyone who did bloggiesta, congrats! Hopefully you accomplished some blogging goals!

Bloggiesta To-Do List!

Hey! I’m participating in bloggiesta for the first time! For me this means tackling my medium-sized blog to-do list, which you will find below! I’m super excited to be taking part in this event. I sort of jumped in at the last minute because I figured, why not!
To-do list:
I’ll probably be adding more to this list as I go, but for now we’ll stop there.
Ole!
